When should I clean my CPAP equipment?

Mask
- Rinse daily
- Weekly: wash with mild soap and rinse thoroughly
- Remember to check for wear and damage monthly

Hose
- Weekly: soak hose in water and vinegar solution (About 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar) for 15-25 minutes
- Remember to check for wear and damage monthly

Water Chamber
- Weekly: soak in water and vineger solution (About 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar) for 15-25 minutes
- Remember to check chamber for leaks monthly

Filter
- Gently rinse under running water weekly (Reinstall when dry)
- Check filter monthly: if gray, replace it
When should I replace my CPAP machince, mask and accessories?
- If your mask or nasal pillow is over 6 months old, breakdown occurs after 6 months
- If your nasal pillow is leaking excessively
- If there is a rip or tear in your device
- Tubing should be replaced a few times per year
- Disposable filters should be replaced every 3 months
- Non-disposable filters should be replaced every 6 months
